On Dad's birthday (05/01/2012). Timberland Nature and Sports Club.
We kind of arrived late, because we had to do our Shakey's Pizza Ritual. Not so long ago, we used to do our special occasion ritual at Chili's, after a three-consecutive year bout of forgetfulness, that is the staff forgetting to sing the celebrants' the 'happy birthday song,' our parents decided the scrumptious Oriental Chicken Salad is no longer worth the annual disappointment.
So Shakey's Pizza it is.
Everyone loves the chicken. Of course.
Who could refuse the thin-crusted pizza?
And the mojos, would anyone say no to those very tasty potato slices?
And of course, the free ice cream platter that arrived, just because it is Dad's bithday!
On our way out, we discovered the SKECHERS, ZOO YORK, PONY SALE.
Awesome, dig our finds...
Dad gifted us with shoes.
Mom gifted Dad shoes.
Dad bought Mom shoes, just because Moms and shoes must always be in the same sentence.
After shopping, the rain started pouring, ahk.
Thankfully, the heavens took pity on us on our way to the Montalban mountains.
 
Settling took awhile.
Then, we had to hide our gifts while Dad was still out parking. |

We love the sunsets at Timberland.
The tail end of summer tell you the back story of how the Philippines came to be known as
'Perlas ng Silanganan.'
This reminds me of summers in Boracay, when the skies were literally on fire.
