Surf's Up at Zambales Part I

Let's start retelling our adventures from the time we had our ice cream break. We realized surfing was not at all easy.

Ask Coach Paolo (Soler) who took the time out of his really busy schedule at his Surfing Academy to teach us, together with Studio 23's Good Times cast.

That's me, with Coach Loraine, and little Zeth, with Coach Paolo. Look at her go...

Oops, not quite it. So, Coach Paolo gives her more one-on-one tips...

I think he said, her footing was wrong. So we try again...

And again ...

Look Zeth has finally stood up...

Meanwhile, I brave the waters... literally.

And I go... but not quite either...

The celebrities from Studio 23 are just as hardworking as us (that's Mo Twister and Andi 9) ... It was very difficult in the beginning...

At one point, Coach Paolo even looked like he was about to give up... The picture sure looks like that way.

Then suddenly, behind him, an upright Zeth was approaching... hooray, hope for the first-time students yet...

So, Coach Paolo comes up to me for encouragement. By this time, I was almost too frustrated, though not giving up entirely...

Zeth does it again...

And finally, I did too... AWESOME!

Zeth and I were so exhausted, we decided to take a break and swim...

But of course, nothing else caps a hard days work better than ice cream... or ice drop!
